Ahimsa

The Art of Practicing Non-Violence

Ahimsa is a sanskrit word meaning 'non-violence'.

Ahimsa is the first of the five Yamas (restrains) of Pathanjalis's eightfold path as described in the Yoga Sutras . In this workshop we explore what does it mean to live a life of non-violence towards others and ourselves.

Love

Growing up in India, the concept of Ahimsa or Violence was simple - don't harm another being. With time, it evolved into many different meanings and for me, they mostly reflected where I stood in my journey.  In this worksop I will share how my definition of Ahimsa has evolved and help you explore your practice through your journey. We will also explore simple steps to move closer towards a practice of Ahimsa which will help you realize your full potential.
